THE OWNERS ARE GRACE TEMPLE CHURCH OF FORT WORTH, AS THE OWNERS, AND THEY´RE REQUESTING TO REZONE THE PROPERTY FROM COMMERCIAL TO SINGLE FAMILY ESTATE. THE COMPREHENSIVE. EXCUSE ME. THE CURRENT ZONING ON THE PROPERTY IS COMMERCIAL.

SO THIS IS A SEPARATE PARCEL. THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN DESIGNATES THIS AREA AS FLOODPLAIN / OPEN SPACE, BUT IT DOES ALLOW FOR ANY OF THE ZONING DISTRICTS TO BE REZONED IN THAT AREA, AS LONG AS IT'S NOT IN THE FLOODPLAIN.
I DID PUT THE FLOODPLAIN ON TOP OF THIS MAP. SO IT'S A LITTLE BUSY FOR YOU AND I APOLOGIZE, BUT I DID WANT YOU TO SEE THAT THE FLOODPLAIN, THE FLOODWAY ITSELF IS THE BLUE LINES, THE BLUE STRIPE LINES.
THE GREEN STRIPE LINE IS THE 100 YEAR FLOOD PLAIN.
AND THEN THE RED LINE IS THE 500 YEAR FLOOD PLAIN.
AND WHERE THEY'RE PROPOSING, THE HOME IS JUST OUTSIDE OF THAT.

NOW ON THE LIGHT GREEN AREA, I DID NOT DESIGNATE WHAT THAT IS, BUT THAT IS WHAT THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN HAS AS THE FLOODPLAIN OPEN SPACE AREA, WHICH IS A LITTLE BIT WIDER THAN WHAT FEMA HAS.
