Public hearing for the Involuntary Annexation of two tracts of land containing a total of 43.78 acres including Burlington Northern Santa Fe right-of-way and property owned by the City of Burleson along CR 1021. (Case 17-108) (2nd Public Hearing) (Mandy Clark) Council Action Requested: Open a public hearing concerning the proposed involuntary annexation of two tracts of land containing a total of 43.78 acres including Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) right-of-way and property owned by the City of Burleson along CR 1021. Close the public hearing.
2. Public Hearing and Ordinance adding Annexation & Disannexation ordinances to the list of Ordinances Requiring Only One Reading (Final Reading) (Paul Cain) Council Action Requested: Open the Public Hearing Close the Public Hearing Adopt, on final reading, an Ordinance Revising Ordinance Number 239-04-2015 adding Annexation & Disannexation ordinances to the List of Ordinances Requiring Only One Reading; and Stipulate that this ordinance shall not apply to any annexation which has been approved on first reading prior to November 6, 2017.
