Consent Agenda All items listed below are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted with one motion. Public hearing and Ordinance C-675-10, request for a Specific Use Permit (SUP) to allow for small tractor and farm equipment sales and repair in a Commercial (C) District located at 200 Center Drive. (Case 10-091) (First Reading)
Resolution R-1140-11 Outlining and stating the City of Burleson’s Legislative Agenda for the 82nd Texas Legislative Session.
City Council Committees. This is a standing item on the agenda of every regular meeting of the Council so that the Staff and Council Committee Members may make a report to the full body of the City Council. (The City Council has established six (6) committees of the Council that meet from time-to-time to consider recommendations to forward to the full body of the City Council regarding business of the City. The committees are as follows: Appointments & Council Policies Committee; Community & Intergovernmental Relations Committee; Community Services Committee; Finance & Internal Services Committee; Governance & Stewardship Committee; Infrastructure & Development Committee; Public Safety & Court Committee. Meetings of Council Committees are public meetings posted as required by the Texas Open Meetings Act.) • Finance & Internal Services – employee health clinic discussion. • Governance & Stewardship – discussion of Mission Statement, Report on Communication avenues currently utilized by the city, and report from committee members on TML & NLC annual conferences. • Infrastructure & Develoment – discussions of TIF#2, parking, sidewalks, and lighting within OldTown, and Wilson extension project.
