7. CONSENT AGENDA All items listed below are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of the items unless a Councilmember or citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and considered in its normal sequence. Approval of the consent agenda authorizes the City Manager to implement each item in accordance with staff recommendations.

C. Consider approval of a minute order for a final plat of IDEA Burleson School Addition, Lot 1, Block 1 located southeast of the intersection of FM 1187 and South Crowley Road. A. 6009 CR1902 (Case 20-136): Hold a public hearing and consider approval of an ordinance amending ordinance B-582, the zoning ordinance of the City of Burleson, Texas by amending the official zoning map and changing the zoning of approximately 2.009 acres of land out of the Joseph West Survey, Abstract No. 855, Tract I and Tract II, Johnson County, Texas located at 6009 CR 1902, City of Burleson, Johnson County, Texas from A, Agriculture to Single Family Estate district making this ordinance cumulative of prior ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing a penalty clause; and providing for an effective date. B. 2380 SW Wilshire Blvd. located north of the intersection of SW Wilshire Boulevard and Wicker Hill Road (Case 20-137): Hold a public hearing and consider approval of an ordinance amending ordinance B-582, the zoning ordinance of the City of Burleson, Texas by amending the official zoning map and changing the zoning for Barking Mad Doggy Daycare & Boarding LLC. located southeast of the intersection of SW Wilshire Boulevard and Exchange Street in the city of Burleson, Johnson County, Texas, from C, Commercial Zoning District to C, Commercial Zoning District with an SUP allowing for a Kennel (indoor) use, making this ordinance cumulative of prior ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing a penalty clause; and providing for an effective date. Block B; Lots 1-13, Block C; Lots 1-23, Block D; Lots 1-34, Block E, within the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) of the City of Burleson (Case 20-116). 9. GENERAL

A. Consider approval of an ordinance granting to United Electric Cooperative Services, Inc., its successors and assigns, a broadband internet services franchise to use the present and future streets, alleys, highways, public utility easements, public ways, and other public property (public rights-of-way) of Burleson, Texas, providing for compensation therefor, providing for an effective date and a term of said franchise, providing for the written acceptance of this franchise, and finding that the meeting at which this ordinance is passed is open to the public. (First and Final Reading) (Staff Presenter: Matt Ribitzki, Deputy City Attorney)

B. Consider approval of a minute order for the purchase of replacement and new police vehicles using an existing Purchasing Cooperative agreement with the Sheriff’s Association of Texas from Caldwell Country Chevrolet of Caldwell Texas in the amount not to exceed $622,548.02. (Staff Presenter: Aaron Russell P.E, Public Works Director)

C. Consider approval of a resolution amending the governing policy of the Mayor Vera Calvin Plaza in Old Town. (Staff Presenter: Alex Philips, Economic Development Director)

D. Consider approval of a resolution authorizing the City Manager to take the necessary action to provide relief measures for Burleson residents and businesses impacted by the recent severe winter storm event. (Staff Presenter: Martin Avila, Finance Director)
