C. Consider approval of a minute order adopting a list of preferred consultants for engineering and architectural services to be used through Fiscal Year 2024-2025. (Staff Contact: Aaron Russell, Director of Public Works)
D. Consider approval of an ordinance amending Chapter 34, "Environment," of the Code Of Ordinances by repealing Article IX, "Public and Semipublic Pools and Spas," in its entirety and adopting a new Article IX, "Public and Semipublic and Spas, Public Interactive Water Features and Fountains," to update the ordinance regarding the construction, operation and maintenance of public and semipublic pools and spas, and make the ordinance applicable to public interactive water features and fountains, to be consistent with the most recent state laws; and current with State law for pool yard enclosures; to include language for additional signage for drowning prevention; and establishing the City of Burleson as the Regulatory Authority for the Inspection and Permitting of Public and Semipublic Pools and Spas, Public Interactive Water Features and Fountains in the City; providing that this ordinance shall be cumulative of all ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing a savings clause; providing for a penalty for violations hereof; providing for publication in the official newspaper; providing an effective date. Consider approval of an ordinance amending Chapter 14, "Businesses," of the Code of Ordinances by repealing Article V, "Food and Food Establishments," in its entirety and adopting a new Article V, "Food and Food Establishments," regulating food establishments, including food services establishments, retail food stores, temporary food establishments, mobile food units, and roadside vendors; adopting by reference the provisions of the current rules or rules as amending, 25 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 228, also known as the Texas Food Establishment Rules; and establishing the City of Burleson as the regulatory authority for the inspection and permitting of food establishments in the City of Burleson; providing that the ordinance shall be cumulative of all ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing for a penalty for violations hereof; providing for publication in the official newspaper; providing an effective date.
